My daughter and I decided to treat ourselves to lunch in the village instead of eating the sandwiches we'd brought from home. We ordered cheese fondue and a crepe. The positives: The cheese fondue was delicious - for an adult. The negatives: For a brie and apple crepe, the crepe was homemade, but the brie and apple were not melted/warmed inside. Cold - not very appealing. The fondue came out with no plates, no silverware, no fondue forks. When we asked for fondue forks, they brought out two gigantic toasting forks. The bread was cut in very large slices instead of chunks. An ear-splitting fire alarm went off when we were eating, and they expected us just to sit inside and eat. They never offered to cancel our order, and while Jonathan W. above apparently got a free treat, they didn't offer us one. We are glad we tried it, but we won't be back.

I'm always tempted by baked goodies...I have a serious sweet tooth that has been pissed off lately due to my diet :-D But hey, I was on vacation, so I had to try something. I went with a caramel and Oreo covered apple. UMMMM....YUM!!!!!! I loved it. And I made it last over a couple of days, although my husband had to help me finish it off. The apple was a crisp, Granny Smith apple, nice with a little tart. The caramel was really good! The Oreos were a little soft and stale-ish but I actually expected that since the apple was sitting in the open air. They definitely did not skimp on the toppings! Star for that! I appreciated that the staff sliced it up for me and put it in a little box to help keep it fresh. Friendly people! They also gave my husband a free chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, which I thought was really tasty! Confession, I snuck over to Goodys another morning and bought a blueberry muffin. Wow, sooo good, moist with a delicious crumble topping...again, I didn't finish it. ;) All in all, a great little place to stop in for some treats. I really wanted to try their crepes though. They had all kinds of sweet and/or savory options. But I maintained self control. Tasty stuff though peeps!

Right in the base village, Goody's is just as its name implies - good. They have various coffee drinks, decent crepes and offer many varieties of baked goods. The sandwiches were reasonably priced for what you got. Big A+ to the nice staff. At reasonable prices for a ski area, Goody's is worth keeping in mind.

Prices are a little high but that's to be expected in a resort village. Service was friendly, water was supplied for free from self-service dispensers which was very helpful, breakfasts and lunches were delicious the three times we ate here, and coffee drinks and milkshakes were excellent as well. This place was great for mid-day lunches or after-mountain meals.

Amazing baked goods, great coffee, awesome crepes and delicious ice cream. Yes, I am a fan. We stop here every time we come to Winter park. They also have a nice fire pit to sit outside, and it is very warm and cozy inside of the restaurant. Yesterday I tried their smore crepe and it was very tasty. Highly recommended.

Food is mediocre, service is terrible and the staff is rude. There was a line out the door to order when we got up to the counter they said that the cinnamon rolls in the display case were already sold and they didn't want to cook more. Ended up ordering a waffle that took 45 minutes or more to get. When I went to check on the waffle they let the people at the counter have the cinnamon roll that earlier was already sold. (It was for my 3 yr old) Our family will never eat at this place again. I would not recommend to anyone

We were getting ready to start the birthday (50th) ski runs and asked the Ski Host where the locals would munch without having to run around. Simply put he told us to drop our skis and turn around. That place is the best. I had the French toast breakfast sandwich, misses had the Banana french toast and the little guy had the Belgian waffle. It was as advertised. Excellent Staff were smart and quick, yes there can be a wait but its worth every minute. We will be back. Thanks guys and gals.

Cheap. Delicious. At the Mountain Base. Sweet and Savory Crepes. Great Coffee. Wireless. Candies. All at the new base village at Winter Park. Sit down and take in the wonderful snowy view, or take it to go at the window.

Goody's is a little gem of a place tucked into the ski resort amongst the other shops. Park in free parking and take the Gondola down to the resort. It's fun. My first take was that it was going to be like the place in Breck where the line is huge and the wait is forever. Not so. We waited in a line of 9 people for about 2 minutes. Quick in a ski place. The service was super friendly even after a busy week of spring break! The food: I ordered a cinnamon roll while my breakfast crepe was made and had it with a cup of pretty damn good coffee. The roll was good but a bit dry on the edges. Super moist and perfect on the inside though. My breakfast crepe and the Missus French toast came about 15 minutes later hot and fresh off the grills. Loads of food and great flavor all around. I almost...almost, couldn't finish. You do bus your own dishes if you stay and eat and the the restaurant wraps around the inside to more seating area. Later in the day they have beers! A cool place I'll definitely go back to when I'm in the area.

Tried to eat here since it was close to our hotel. Unfortunately they don't have one single gluten free option for breakfast. Was told I could order their $12 breakfast without toast or hash browns. That would leave me with a sausage patty and egg. Not for $12. Thanks anyway.

Good times here on the patio eating and drinking! The ice cream is so good! No crepes in the summer.

Everything about this place was great, except for the hour-long wait to get our food- the place was packed. The coffee was bold and flavorful, the service was friendly, and you certainly can't beat the location. I had an egg scrambler-type meal and it was super fresh and tasty. I would definitely recommend.

Great food! Friendly service. Good selection. The banana stuffed French toast was delicious. The steak and eggs were great. The biscuits and gravy had a little kick. Young hip ambiance. Comfortable for oldies, too (like us). Fun environment.

I don't often come here, but I don't know why. I know weird way to start a review, but I'm confused because when I do come in, I love it. Over the weekend, I popped in for some cookies - they have an honor system where you grab a cookie and put some money in a bucket. I was about to do this when I spied a M&M Monster cookie. I'm not even sure how to describe it - it's two cookies with an inch, maybe two, of butter cream between it and then rolled in M&M minis. I knew I was in trouble when I was told I should eat it with a fork. Rich doesn't even come close to describing it, and this is from a guy who uses cake as a frosting delivery vehicle. This is definitely something to share, but so good. As for prior visits, I've enjoyed the crepes and cinnamon rolls as well. I'm not a big coffee drinker, but they seem to do some pretty good business for the latte, mocha, half-caf, skinny, etc. crowd as well. If you're in the mood for something sweet, this is the place to hit in WP.

Very good ice cream with homemade waffle cones. Also very good cookies that are "help yourself" with a $0.75 honor system.

We came for spring break and we had breakfast everyday. We loved it, crepes, omletes, waffles, etc. The pastries were GREAT!!! Also had ice cream after hitting the slopes, we loved everything. No fifth star because of minor details other than food and service. Staff is super friendly!!!!

Once I saw "creperie" listed on the sign out front, it was a given that this would need to be our stop the next morning prior to hitting the slopes. Judging by the growing line upon arriving shortly after their doors opened at 8am, we were not alone in making it a breakfast destination. We started with a hot cup of joe - perfectly potent and with a wonderful roasted flavor. I had a very hard time deciding on a savory or sweet crepe. I truly wanted an excuse to get both, but I held back. I finally settled on a specialty savory crepe that included bacon, spinach, brie, and onions. The crepe itself was tender but slightly underdone rendering it on the gummy side. Sadly, the onions continued the al dente theme, leaving me dreading the lingering onion breath that typically ensues. Those components aside, the remainder of the breakfast was fine. My husband's crepe was similarly on the rare side, and while I'd like to attribute the premature plating of both our breakfasts to a slammed kitchen, the staff didn't give the impression that it was any busier than a typical day. Perhaps had I ordered a sweet crepe for dessert, I would have left with a better taste in my mouth - fairly literally. I plan on using that excuse the next time I want to justify ordering dessert for breakfast.

Came in on a Wednesday evening. We came early because a sign out front said they are closing at 6. We arrived around 5:15. The front door was lodged open even though it was about 35 degrees outside. We ordered and went to sit in the back where it was warm. The back seating area was blocked off so we had to sit in the front near the door. The music was so loud that my mom and I couldn't hear each other in a normal tone of voice. We finally agreed that this was going to be a miserable meal if we stayed in the restaurant so I went and asked for it to go. The veggie crepe that we ordered was delicious and big enough for us to share. I have no issue with the food but I wish the emplyees were more considerate of the guests. (Hint: if everyone is eating in their coat, it's too cold!)

Had an awesome breakfast sandwich - cheap, yummy, quick. Hard to beat that! Our sandwiches were served on skillet type plates, which added to the charm! While eating, we took great pleasure listening in to one of the servers' interactions with two young boys who came in to buy ice cream and had a million questions! Her patience never faded!

This place does not deserve one star. Stopped in after skiing and there were two kids making orders, one was eating ice cream as he was helping customers, upset 3 people because he messed up their orders and appeared to be high as a kite. 8 friggon dollars for two cones and 30 minutes of waiting I decided to talk to the "manager" huge help..NOT! . She could have cared less.... Don't bother, service and ice cream sucks save your money and keep walking .

  • Michael W.

Stopped in here for an after dinner ice cream treat with the kids. They had lots of options and flavors. It was a little expensive, but everything we ordered was delicious and the two staff members working the night we stopped in were very friendly and helpful (which is sometimes hard to find in ski towns). We will be back again!

I got the simplest crêpe, w/lemon, and another, the teriyaki chicken, for comparison and both were excellent. I recommend highly. Thanks, hard working ppl at Goodys :)

The restaurant is a cute little place in the resort town, and while expensive for breakfast, and no kid menu, it was the only breakfast option around. You order at the counter, you pick up your food when your called, and you bus your own table. All that is not a big deal it's the giant tip jar next to the registrar that says "karma kup".. Really? So we have bad karma for not tipping you for something we are doing all the work aside from cooking? I tipped because I had no idea how the process worked when I ordered and had I known I would have taken my karma chances. The food was okay. The Belgian waffle had fresh strawberries and whipped cream, which was very good, but don't get the cinnamon roll French toast. It's basically two cinnamon rolls that are cooked halfway with a soggy middle that is raw, covered with batter and powdered sugar. The staff were really friendly, and even with all the people the food came out quick. We stayed all day in town doing the alpine slide and various activities with the kids and promised them ice cream before we left, so we went back here and they didn't have ice cream :(

Ok food, painfully slow service. I waited half an hour for a breakfast sandwich that was only slightly better than McDonalds or Starbucks. Very limited seating, though there is some outdoor seating which is fine if it's warm. My suggestion would be to order a coffee and croissant or donut from the plastic case. Anything that requires cooking will take ages to get. Avoid this place at all costs on weekends during ski season.

Really enjoyed all their homemade goodies. The Strawberry shortcake crepe was okay. It was very plain. I've had better but the steak and eggs was good. I loved the Italian Sodas! The toasted marshmallow was great! Sounds weird but tasted oh so good!

Stopped in here after skiing, at about 3pm. There were no customers and two workers. A young guy and a young girl were working. They were fooling around and not doing their jobs. I waited 15 minutes until the girl took my order. It took another 15 minutes to receive my order, which was a simple crepe and a drink. The crepe and drink were both terrible and the service was ridiculously awful. I really want a refund. A message to the owner of this restaurant: Please replace your staff!

Quite the wide selection of great sweets here, it's too bad that the service was so slow. We were very to get in before the crowd. Our group had two Italian sodas that were very refreshing and three ice creams (chocolate, cookies and cream and some kind I don't recall. The also had an " on your honor" cookie jar that you just helped yourself.

They have a pretty extensive menu for sweet and savory snacks and hot and cold drinks. I was amazed to see that they even have shave ice on their menu too. (Only available in the summer - sorry snow bunnies) Sweet and savory crepes are both really good here. We tried the breakfast crepe with bacon, egg and cheese ($7.50) this morning and it hit the spot before hitting the slopes. The crepes were perfect, light and a little crisp, not dry or rubbery. Their milkshakes were a little soupy - I like mine a little more thick. ($7.95 for a 20oz.) Their cinnamon rolls were pretty good too, fresh baked that morning ($2.95) Overall, this is a place I'll continue to visit for a quick yummy bite while at Winter Park Resort. A side note, they have "cookie time" from 3-5 pm but I haven't checked that out - usually still on the mountain around that time. :(

Delicious crepes. I love all of the dessert crepes! My favorite is the classic Crepe Suzette. The ice cream and italian sodas are wonderful too! A great way to end your day at the slopes! The owners and counter staff are awesome and the service is great!

Penut (sic) Butter and Jelly crepe might be the best thing I've ever had. I don't get to Winter Park very often, but when I do, I'm there.

A great alternative to regular "mountain" food. I enjoyed a cinnamon roll with a hot apple cider mixed with Sailor Jerrys to warm up. We came back later to enjoy a banana and dark chocolate crepe. My only regret is we didn't try a savory crepe, definitely a must if we come back to Winter Park. Great service and the bakery smelled heavenly

Just in town waiting for our room. Had two of their "all day" breakfast crepes and an order of pancakes with chocolate chips for our 10 year old. Found a table easily (12:30 pm) and watched some ski videos during our short wait. Great choice to start off our trip.

I want to give a higher review, but I can't give even three starts. I am combining two reviews for this place into one, since I ate both supper and breakfast here. I had one of their crepes which was just bland and mediocre. I would not advise one. I can't imagine that any of the flavors are any better. I asked for them to add Sausage (for flavor) to a vegetarian one, and the sausage had no flavor like it was fried in water or something. It was really weird. In addition the food was dry and boring. I would recommend to the owner that he frequent some of the AMAZING crepe places in downtown Denver, Cherry Creek and Boulder. The only advantage this guy or gal has who owns this place is a that no one else makes crepes. Theirs stink! Service was very slow and there wasn't a good place to sit. I also got a smoothie there for breakfast. It was awesome (expensive for a smoothie), but the service was much faster as it was early on a Sunday morning. I would go there again for a smoothie but not lunch or supper.

after riding the alpine slide.. we decided to grab some ice cream.. this place offered a decent size scoop.. it's a bit pricy for $3.50 but wth.. you're on vacation.. their mint chip is pretty damn good.. pro-tip.. get the ice cream in the cup.. and then grab some free waffle topping..

Had breakfast on our way home from a great long weekend in Grand Lake. Stumbled on this after stopping at 2 other places that had long waits. We both had ham and cheese omlettes. It was very good but I wish I had a crepe - that is their specialty. Service is friendly.

C'mon folks. This place is OK, but it's nothing special. Just an average crepe place. Similar to Crepeville in Sacramento and Davis. Yea, the stuff was good, but it certainly didn't make my mouth come alive with excitement and splendor. With it's location at the bottom of the hill, my guess is that folks are starving to death so it's gotta be the best thing ever... especially if you need to wait in a long line to get it.

  • Jonathan W.

Super cool place with all the foods you should never ever eat. This is where fit people go to die. I was going to abstain, entirely, and let Sarah W. engage in guilty pleasures, but no, an employee offered me a free cookie dough ice cream cone that needed a home. Apparently it was ordered and abandoned - I didn't really get the whole back story because it was beginning to melt and needed immediate attention (read: frenzied licking). It was either my innate caregiving instincts or my waste-not-want-not upbringing that abandoned my self-concern entirely and dove in to rescue this orphaned ice cream cone. So deep was my concern that I barely remember the experience, except that it was delicious. And even though I never intended to and indeed didn't purchase anything from Goody's, I will remember it fondly.

    Another jackpot hit here in Winter Park! This place was awesome!!!!! The girl behind the counter cooking blew us away with her cooking skills. Good job sticker! One eyed jack wAs amazing.... And so was the banana stuffed French toast! Were staying another night in winter park just for the food here! Good breakfast spot if you're here... A must go! Friendly staff was a bonus!(-;
